Environmental Officer (Administration)



JOB SUMMARY:

  • Maintain professionalism; reflect the company’s commitment to quality among employees, continuous improvement, equality, openness and respect for all employees in their respective positions and employees under your supervision

  • Provide a positive, motivating example to other employees in terms of upholding the environment

  • Contribute to a positive work environment that reflects the respective Core Values of the company.

  • Write reports on the progress of work


Environmental Duties

  • Make sure that the employees comply with all OSHA safety requirements. And follow up on company matters regarding OSHA, NEMC, FIRE and Labor Relations including compliance and implementation.

  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the physical location.

  • Follow up on all environmental issues of the company and advise the management in case of any environmental matter.

  • Manage the day-to-day environmental operations of the company, whilst ensuring proper compliance with all statutory and other obligations the company has.

  • Advocate and promote a healthy and safe working environment for employees including PPEs, working gears, uniforms among others.
