General and Administrative duties

Write reports on the progress of work
Ensure that you maintain glassware by picking-up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and distributing.
Ensure all Lab equipments are numbered as per GMP guidelines
Ensure that you keep laboratory supplies up to date (well-stocked and resourced), maintain an inventory of glassware and other lab instruments and place orders if supply depletes; verify receipt of new stock in liaison with your supervisor.
Ensure that you keep equipment in operating condition by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, requesting for repairs.
Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities through performing operator maintenance, and schedules annual and any other regular maintenance as required per manufacturer and/or governing statute.
Ensure that you document information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
Ensure that you keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability and conducting searches on identified topics relevant to the research.
Operate laboratory equipment in accordance with local, state and federal standards.
Performs laboratory specimen processing consisting of receiving, identifying, assigning, accession numbers, sorting, preparation and internal laboratory specimens handling.
Responsible for ensuring laboratory specimens are drawn and analyzed according to established standards of care.
Ensure that you follow strict safety procedures and safety checks in the laboratory.
Ensure that you work in liaison with and under the supervision of the head of quality department and microbiologist to complete projects by assisting project team; attending and participating in group and project meetings by;
Performing laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations.
Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses.
Preparing specimens and samples.
Constructing, maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment, for example centrifuges, titrates, pipettes and pH meters.
Recording and sometimes interpreting results to present to senior colleagues.
The ability to learn specific, practical techniques and apply this knowledge to solve technical problems;
Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to use technical equipment with accuracy.
The ability to maintain and calibrate technical equipment.
Time management skills in order to work on several different projects at the same time.
Flexibility in order to work with and provide support for a number of people.
Excellent oral communication skills in order to work effectively with colleagues from all parts of the company and to explain complex techniques to interested parties.
Experience in providing demonstrations and writing technical reports.
Teamwork skills and patience.
Paying attention to detail.
You will also need to have excellent record-keeping skills, along with using computers and performing mathematical calculations for the preparation of graphs
